1880 Smith & Wesson .44 Cal For Russion CF

This is a Rare 1880 Smith & Wesson New Model No.3/ .44 cal. Russian Metalic Cartridges Center-Fire SN 31XXX. 6 1/2"inche Barrel. Lanyard Swivel on Butt. 85% original bluing. Excellent Bore. Great Gun. This was the favorate gun of most Old West U.S. Marshalls and of course a good number of Outlaws. Wyatt Earp had one, Buffalo Bill had one and Annie Oakley had 3 of the early ones of this gun. The original S&W gun preceeded the Colt 45 Peacemaker by 3 1/2 yrs. VERY RARE.
